New online membership system for 2017:

The club has grown in size over recent years and with the need to become more accountable to club members, the result is an ever increasing administrative workload. In order to cut down on this administration, the committee decided to use an online management system provided by LoveAdmin. (previouslyPaySubsOnline)

What is LoveAdmin? It's an online management tool that provides many advantages for clubs such as ours. It reduces the workload of club administrators by:

  • application forms and members info held in one database.

  • members can easily update their own information held in that database.

  • offers an online payment system where all payments are recorded and tracked.

  • once registered with LoveAdmin, it's easy for members to renew subscriptions in subsequent years.

  • incorporates an email system which eliminates issues we have with our current system.   

  • has the potential to collect payment for club weekends. (cuts down on admin)

  • has the potential to pay for club kit online (again cutting down on admin)

  • has the potential to collect payment for our club races online.

How much is this going to cost?

As our club are absorbing the online payment fees, the cost to you is nothing. The cost to the club is surprisingly very little, currently around £40 a year.

How do I apply for membership / pay?

You  need to register online. When the application is complete, you'll be asked for payment (currently £5). The preferred payment method is using a debit or credit card via PayPal. Were also looking at accepting Direct Debit in future, depends how much demand there is for this facility. We'll retain the manual method of payment as before, but would discourage this if at all possible. (please read below). And that's it, you're now a fully paid up member.

What next?

Upon successful payment, you'll be notified via email with a username (typically the email address you registered with) to access your membership records. You'll first need to set a password for your account (simply follow instructions). Once confirmed that's it, you're good to go.

This is the account you'll use from now on to review / update personal information and pay your membership fees in subsequent years.  

I'm uncomfortable with online payment systems - can I still pay by cash / cheque / BACS?

In one word - Yes. We understand not everyone wishes to pay via online so retain the facility. However before requesting this, please keep in mind manual payment now involves considerable administrative work for us. Not only does it mean extra trips to the bank and manually inputing your data, it means the need to retain paper records - all of which we want to discourage.
